Executive Reset Intensive™

NEW - Executive Reset Intensive™

The Three-Session Diagnostic for Strategic Presence – includes equine coaching

The Executive Reset Intensive™ (ERI) is a new FM Equine Coaching™ program designed around a specific problem and a specific population. Senior leaders — VP-level and above — rarely have the luxury of open-ended developmental timelines. At times, they need interventions that are intensive in scope but contained in duration: precise enough to surface what matters, structured enough to produce actionable insight, and short enough to fit within the constraints of a schedule that often does not pause for self-reflection. The ERI™ was built to meet those conditions.

ERI™ Solves:

  • The gap between strong results and diminishing sense of purpose, when achievement no longer produces meaning.
  • Dispositional patterns that surface under pressure and undermine leadership impact in ways the leader cannot see.
  • The recurring experience of being technically right but relationally misread in board rooms, negotiations, or critical conversations.

Outcomes:

  • A clear map of bright-side reputation, dark-side risk patterns, and core motivational structure (HOGAN HPI/HDS/MVPI).
  • Somatic awareness of the signals that precede dark-side activation, and practical strategies to interrupt them.
  • A revised narrative framework robust enough to regulate what the Intensive exposes, with a roadmap for sustained application.

YOUR NEXT CHAPTER STARTS HERE

In a focused 30-minute Zoom® conversation, we’ll explore your objectives and assess whether the ERI is the right fit, and answer any questions about the program, including pricing and schedule.

Program and Experience

The full ERI typically spans three to five weeks from intake to final integration session, and is composed of four distinct parts.

Part 1: Intake and Assessment (Online, self-paced)

Prior to the first coaching session, the client completes an extensive intake questionnaire and the full HOGAN Leadership Assessment suite online. HOGAN is the most reputable personality assessment in executive coaching and leadership selection worldwide, used by 75% of the Fortune 500. It measures everyday reputation (HPI), behavioral risk under pressure (HDS), and core motivational drivers (MVPI). You can read more about HOGAN here. This preparatory work ensures that the coaching engagement begins with data, not assumptions.

Part 2: Dispositional Mapping (Zoom, 2–4 hours)

The first coaching session takes place on Zoom. We review the intake questionnaire and the HOGAN assessment, confirm the client's objectives, and establish the dispositional baseline. Using the full HOGAN suite (HPI, HDS, MVPI), we map the client's bright-side reputation, dark-side risk patterns, and core motivational structure. This data is not destiny. It is the terrain the client's narrative has been managing — often brilliantly — for decades. The question is not "who are you?" but "what patterns have you been regulating, and what happens when that regulation falters?"

Part 3: Equine Diagnostics and Somatic Awareness Session (in person at The Artha Ranch, Perrin, TX)

The second coaching session takes place in person at The Artha Ranch. This is a half-day (am or pm) immersion divided into four distinct modalities:

  • a) Interaction with the horse herd in the pasture. This session is unstructured and observational: how do we enter a social field that is already organized, and what happens to our default relational posture when we are not the one setting the terms?
  • b) Coaching in the round pen with one horse
  • c) Sessions review and feedback, one-to-one
  • d) Somatic session, based on classical Hatha Yoga principles, see details below

In the round pen, the client works with horses under conditions designed to produce exactly the kind of mild, sustained relational pressure that triggers dark-side patterns. The coach does not interpret the horse's behavior symbolically. They observe, name, and help the client connect what is happening in the pen to what the assessment data predicts. We are watching a dispositional pattern play out in real time, somatically, in a context that cannot be managed through language. You can read more about FM Equine Coaching™ on the Equine page.

Part 4: Integration and Roadmap (Zoom, 2–3 hours, within 7–10 days of Part 3)

The third and final session takes place on Zoom within 7–10 days of the ranch visit, while the somatic and observational data is still fresh. We review what emerged across the full engagement and establish a roadmap for ongoing application: how to recognize the signals that precede dark-side activation, how to interrupt the pattern before it destabilizes a board presentation or a critical negotiation, and how to begin composing a narrative robust enough to regulate what has been exposed.

The Somatic Awareness Session

The somatic awareness session, guided by Heli Malatesta is not a fitness class, not an intense asana practice, and not a flexibility test.

Drawing from classical Hatha Yoga principles, the somatic practice develops an embodied sense of what a regulated body actually feels like: how it breathes, how it holds itself, how it moves when nothing is competing for its attention. The equine sessions show you what happens under pressure. The somatic practice gives you a baseline to return to.

The guided session includes:

  • Gentle body movements (intentional body alignment, joint activation)
  • Breath regulation (alternate nostril pranayama)
  • Attention practices (awareness meditation, yoga-nidra style relaxation)

The outcome is a set of practices that fit within a demanding schedule; tools for recalibration that require no equipment, no studio, and no more than a few minutes when a deliberate reset is needed.

No prior yoga experience is required. What is expected is a willingness to observe your body and breath and use them as tools to generate calm alertness.
