Living and working with horses over the past several years has deepened that understanding. Daily interaction with these powerful, perceptive animals reveals subtleties in communication and intention that no classroom or boardroom can teach. This experience has shaped my approach to leadership and transformation, grounding it in presence, clarity, and authentic connection.

How does FM Equine Coaching™ work?

 

 

Horses are gentle, perceptive herd animals that instinctively seek connection with one another and, under the right conditions, with people. Their social sensitivity allows them to detect subtle shifts in our emotional state far more quickly than any human could.

During an equine coaching session, horses respond to what is authentic. When there’s a gap between what we say and what we feel - when anxiety, habit, or old narratives surface - they sense it instantly and mirror it back through their behavior. Deception simply isn’t part of their nature.

This honest feedback offers powerful insight into how we show up, revealing patterns often hidden beneath the surface. Through that awareness, clients develop empathy, congruence, and a deeper understanding of how their presence influences others.

FM Equine Coaching™ is available to clients of FM Transformational Coaching™ and FM Executive Coaching™ who can attend sessions in person at the ranch. Each session is tailored to the individual, designed to meet specific goals and reveal new pathways toward self-awareness and effectiveness.
